29 PIECE CRYSTAL SILVER GROUP: NEW NEVADA MINE, BATOPILAS, CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO NR!

About 6 or 7 years ago now we purchased a very large collection that was originally put together by a now deceased individual that had spent a lot of time working at this locality back in the 1970s and 80s.  He had collected thousands of small silver crystals at the mine, and he had taken the time to put them all into small display cases with custom built internal compartments based upon the size of the crystals.  These were all placed into clear foam filled hinged plastic gemstone cases that measure 1 1/8 x 1 1/8 x 3/4 inch in size.  The number of crystal specimens mounted in each box was dependent upon the size of the individual silver crystal growths.  So some cases might have 1, 2, 3 or 4 crystals while others might have up to 16 or even 24 or 36 individual crystals per box.
These all come from the historic locality of the New Nevada Mine, Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico
, and there were hundreds of these cool cases in the collection (around 780 total).  I have been selling these in groups for the past several years, and I am down to my last two groups of these, and these are mostly the smaller specimens with 16 crystals in each box.
So here is a big group of twenty-nine (29) individual specimen boxes of crystalline silver that are some of the last of this old collection as I have just one more group of these I will be listing in the coming weeks after this one.  This group contains 29 individual specimen boxes.  28 of the cases hold 16 individual small silver crystals each, and one of the cases holds 4 larger silver crystal specimens.  So there are a grand total of 452 individual mini silver crystals contained within the 29 case of silver crystals in this listing.  The specimens are composed of really nice silver crystals growing in elongated and often branching dendritic formations with the specimens having a maximum length ranging between about 2 and 8 mm each, and all but the four larger crystals will be in the 2 to 3 mm range.  These crystals are small, but they are pretty exquisite and worth a good long look under a hand lens!  All together the 29 small cases of silver crystals weighs in at 10.2 ounces.
