This is in wonderful vintage condition with some signs of wear. No cracks or chips.
Ready for display and/ or use.
Mid-Century Scandinavian Modern Nils Landberg (1907-1991) for Orrefors, Sweden rare Tan'si vase/bowl, vintage 1950s, the red-blue sfumato interior cased in clear.
It is red that fades to very pale blue with a clear foot. I believe it is the Tan'Si, also known as Tansi or Tan-Si circa early 1950s. The underside is signed Orrefors NU3300/4 (uncut smooth glass by Nils Landberg).
During the 1950s, Landberg experimented with attenuated forms using either clear or delicately tinted glass. In 1986 the Orrefors Museum held a retrospective exhibition of his work.
